I went to look at my forums leaders link.

I have the right people in the right spaces, but I also have some extras.

I have looked at the profiles of the members that are showing up as extras in there and I see that they are just reg users and that they have no special group that they belong too.

Any ideas as to why they would be showing up in there when they are not even in the group?

Check the usergroup permissions, maybe it says 'Viewable on Show Groups' YES, which then should be no.

I have checked the users permissions, I have checked the groups permissions. The problem is that these users that are popping up are the same 2. They are not admins, they are not supermods and they are not moderators, but they are in each of the lists. Here is a screen shot They are also listed in the moderators section as well. It was a huge list that they were positioned on either end of it.

ok I was playing about. I just edited their profile. I did not make any changes to it just went in like I was going to edited it. Saved and now they are not in there.

Very odd behaviour. But it is fixed now.

yes I am happy. I just found it very odd. Ohh well. Now to work on the other bugs. :)

Floris. Just so you know. there is a quick fix for the bug you reported at http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/bugs.php?do=view&bugid=1321 We have gotten it to work properly now.

My co-admin for one of my sites found the issue. I am grateful he had more patience than I did for hunting it down.
