I got problems, I installed the Stats Hack (USH) and after that I cannot update profiles, neither can anyone. It says "Profile updated successfully" or whatever the message are but it doesnt really update it. Any ideas ?

Does it connect with the good info to the database? Cuz I think updating a users profile goes also by database.. (just a suggestion, I'm not a vbulletin master lol :p)

have you tried to revert your member.php or per file that you modified for that hack?
Perhaps you have a typo in one of the editted files, or wrong syntax

No i didnt try to revert the "FILES" only the template things in the admin panel, the hack works fine so i guess there's nothing wrong with that one

If you're scared of screwing things up, why not install a test copy of the board to muck up before you apply a hack to your live board? The vBulletin license allows for one non-public installation for testing purposes, defined as being closed for new registrations and passworded via .htaccess

Well if you still want to screw things up continue like this. If you encounter any database errors because of some queries you're screwed. That's why you should ALWAYS try a hack first on a test board.

Always ?
I try things out constantly on live boards, without testing on my localhost first :)
Sometimes it is worth the risk or you just know it can't kill the whole forum.
It is just smart to use a localhost to test it first, but time saving to do is straight on the live-board.
