I know if you use one here, but do you allow avatars on your web site?

I usually allow my members to have avatars. I think people like being able to have their own avatar because it's unique to them and allows them to be recognized by more than just a username or sig.

Yup, though I have been considering removing our "standard" avatars..

I probably won't though.

Yes, but I don't like the moving avatars, they are so annoying when reading a long post.

I go along with that, I think that it's nice having a more visible ID mark :D

Good when they're 80x80, around that. 64x64 is too small for this day and age. :p

Agreed. I hate sites that make you use avatars with such small dimensions. I can't find any good images that small.

Why of course I allow avatars on my vBulletin :p. I don't see any reason why not to. Avatars add personality to each users posts ;), and it helps me distinguish who's who when im scannin threads :P

No :) It's a clan board, I have rank images for the clan members. And disabled avatars completely to keep it all clean...

We use avatars, of course, but most folks ask me to size/load theirs, so I keep up with them that way... :)
