Can anyone tell me about the "Most users ever online" feature please?

At the moment, my total number of members online is 20 - does this mean that 20 members where on the forum at the same time or does it mean that 20 members logged into my forum during that one particular day?

At the same time.

The total users ever online number is the amount of members + guests together, who were online at the same time.

If you goto the whois online section, and see 21 users online (members+you+guests+bots) then you go back to the forumhome page and it says, total members ever online was 21. (Because its higher then 20 ofcourse).

The same time .. is a bit hard to take precise. Since it is the same time, as users are logged in for a session. (i.e. a session might last for 15 minutes (default) ..)

Beat you to it! :-P, and actually, it can be changed so the guests dont count, ect ect ect. but yeah.
