I'm just curious if you're using the standard native Reputation System or did you modify it in some kind of way?

I'm asking because I wanna set that feature free on my board (which got almost 10 000 Users now) but I'm afraid that (maybe) some people will vote bad on other people just because they don't like them..

We use the standard reputation system here on vBulletin.nl. If you fear that some members will call a negative vote on other members for the reason you posted, you'll need to enforce the rules and find a way to restrict it.

Allright, thanks for the info Daniel. Due to the fact that it seems to work here quite well I'll try to customize the native rules as good as possible..

OK then, I wish you good luck with this experience and I hope it turns out alright :)

Yes, we use the default 'reputation' system that comes with vBulletin version 3 and in the thread hideo points out you can find which settings we have used.

We have renamed 'reputation' to 'karma' but you can update the phrases to whatever you want. Like 'cash' or 'points' or 'activity'

The power feature is very nifty, that's one of my favourite features of the board. :)

Simple, yet informative.

I think someone from the staff took the liberty to change the word reputation to karma again. I think that looks a lot nicer. Good job.
