I have many questions about usergroups..

is there any way for users to setup their own usergroups? if so how ?

how do ppl get invited or request to join different usergroups ? and how ?

No, usergroups can only be added by the admin with the admin permission. Not by other usergroups like 'registered'.

If you add a custom usergroup you can make it a public or private one. ANd you can set the usergroup joinable per invite by adding a usergroup leader to that custom usergroup.
