It's an administrator function. I don't think I am going to be able to accomplish it alone. If you wish to help out, please PM me for details.

Please try to put in more effort to create productive posts. From now on we will start removing the posts we might consider unproductive. davey- 10th September 2004, 02:02 PM Hello again. I didn't really want to release the details of this hack in public, because it's rather a good idea. But I guess it doesn't matter, because I've tried, but I can't make it anyway. @floris: Hmm, from what I gather, his English isn't very good. That's not really his fault. Think back to when you were learning English, I bet people complained about yours or the lack thereof. ;) OK well this hack is about the ACP, obviously. I didn't see anything like this in the making, or released. It's a reset Administrator password feature. It should use the 'Enter Customer Number' function, and then you should be asked to enter the username to edit (because of more than 1 admin), should check if the user is an admin, if not error, if they are, then you should go to a new screen. "Edit admin username, password, re-enter, email" (like the admin you setup when you install vB, but instead of 'adding' it, you 'edit' it instead). [good points] - It helps for admins who forget their password. - Customer Number is secure in the file, if someone external was doing it, they'd have to know your FTP login details. [bad points] - If 'other' admins were going to use this themselves, they'd have to know the customer number. But you trust 'em, right? HiDeo 11th September 2004, 01:36 AM Oupsss sorry floris ! davey- you have a very nice idea for this hack and if you want you can contact me by pm to chat more about this hack ! davey- 11th September 2004, 07:50 PM The idea is there.
