i have 3.0.1 running on my site and the newest is 3.0.3 since im so new to vbb i want to upgrade but what would happen to all the hacks and mods that i have already installed ?

is there a program that i can use to make a diff file and just use that to insert all the hacks back in easily ?

If you upgrade, you will lose all your hacks. But using a compare program may save you the trouble. I used to use a program called Beyond Compare, which basically compared two files, and allows you to insert certain code from one file to the next. So one was the new version file, and the hacked version file. All I did was transfer the hack code (You need to know which code in your file is from hacks) into the new version file, and uploaded that. :)
