Auto close (specific forums, at any interval)
We have a FAQ site that runs of posts made in a specific forum. I don't like to show all the comments made on a particular entry, so I wrote a hack that lets mods show or hide any comments they want.
We have a rule about posting in the Site Reviews forum where you have to review three other sites first. We use the mod queue feature. I wrote a hack that lets the mods see how many posts the user has made, and how many replies they made in the specific forum. And since users were getting confused when they didn't see their thread appear after posting, I wrote a little something to display the threads they had in the queue.

Think that's about it.
