Now this is just freakin insane...
On all vB powered sites that I visit, the default text is italic.
All other sites are normal.
I'll quickly whip up a composite screenshot...for a larger one click here (http://www.nzboards.com/images/italicbig.gif)

Does anyone have any idea what could have done this?
I just installed the statistik hack...
Weird.

I think it'd just be a setting in the CSS that can be changed - have a look at your CSS, maybe you change all italic text to bold or underline or something.

Err...in my browsers (both..IE and Firefox are doing this on all vB powered sites I try to view)?
Where do I find those settings?

Oh. If it is a site you visit - then you can't change the CSS settings for that site's skin - you could ask the admin to make a non-italic skin.
On your own vB site, you can go into the ACP and edit the skin's CSS settings to not use italic fonts. I'll try this in my ACP sometime today on my test installation and see what happens.

Don't know what the problem is with italic, it's just a nice style of markup :)

Nah, because it was on IE and Firefox...
Apparently there are viruses around that like to hijack the browser's style display settings.
One of my staff gave me a smack on the wrist for having my signature be set to 24 pt text...but it is set to Size=1.
Turned out his settings were set so that font of that size was scaled to 24 pt. He didn't do it, much like me and my italic goodness. :)
