We all know we cant talk about our results with adsense but I am wondering how many other admins actually use the program.... and if you do use it, have you been pleased with it overall? I know for my sites it has been a nice addition and works very well as a default campaign and even better for conversions given the contextual targetting but I've also got sites in high cpc niches (or so says overture) so perhaps you have a different experience?

I have never used it and never plan on using it because of Google's somewhat strict terms, I fear that they won't send a payment for some silly reason...

I don't think AdSense could ever give me any advantages.

I'm shocked at the distrust against adsense... clearly not everyone wants ads on their forum or adsense ads but to see people talking about a lack of payment or anything of that nature is really wierd assuming adsense's reputation.

I use it, but, I just started about a month ago.

I'm getting people clicking, but very little at the moment.

Lets hope it changes in the near future, otherwise I'll probably remove it.

I think it's a good source of revenue and a great way to give back to your STAFF.

Accepting volunteers for Staff positions--is ok; but, paying your "voluteers" is even better ... even if it's something small.

I use it but I don't get back a dime. I am working on implementing their 8 tips.

You can learn more about these at www.google.com/8tips/ (http://www.google.com/8tips/)

I use Google Adsense on various sites and with success.

On this web site I use it for unregistered members and I placed it in the Archive/

I would have to say that Adsense is truly worthless to me. I hate Adsense.

Currently I run adsense ads on our forum and it is worth it. It pays the bills. :)

When I still owned DevBoxForums, I used to run it. I didn't earn much from them though. Then again, we weren't too popular :D

I use it on my main page, and only for guests on the forum. No registered member sees them on the forum, yet it pays for my VPS hosting account every month all by itself...

Best addition to my site yet!

Adsense ad not also brings in $$$ but it also makes google crawl your site a lot faster, and a lot more, its been proven time and time again. I think everysite should have it somewhere.

Anxiously waiting for our PriceGrabber contract to end.... Clicks have been way up, but revenue has dropped. Too bad you can't run Adsense and Pricegrabber concurrently.

Adsense works GREAT on my site -

IM not getting rich - but I make a bit more a month then my ANNUAL expenses. And its growing every month as my forums grow.

It costs you nothing so why wouldnt you do it? Might as well try it.

Thats not entirely true.

Google has 2 different spiders. One is for the Search engines the other is for adsense. The 2 are unrelated. Having adsense ads do not help you get a higher or better position in the serps. The Adsense spider only comes to your site when a new page is called up and an ad has to be determined. All the adsense spider does is check the content of your page for the purpose of matching the ads it will serve on that page with the content of the page.
