View Full Version : How much time do you spend visiting vBulletin based forums? DarknessDivine 3rd August 2004, 07:15 PM I usually spend all of my days going between them all...Looking for new things to try and do and just chatting with the people I meet...So far all have been pretty cool...;) tignasse 3rd August 2004, 07:41 PM As I won't go back to Uni until October, I've had plenty of time to surf through the various vB forums (vb.com, vb.nl, vbtemplates.com and vb.org). I'd say around 2 hours a day (usually just a few minutes at once but multiple times during the course of the day). bassnutz 4th August 2004, 12:54 AM Every board I belong to are run by vB, including my own. About 6 hours a day. If I had more time to spend, I would. Traveler 4th August 2004, 03:22 AM About 4 hours most nights, but been told I spend way to much on here, Oh well I sent her on her way. kall 4th August 2004, 03:56 AM A little too much I think...some days it can be 4 hours, some it an be up to 8 or so, depending on what I am doing to my boards. After a release of updated core vB software, that number can shoot up to 'all day'...what with having to find the hacks again and reinstall all of them :) Admiral Spock 4th August 2004, 07:20 AM Nearly all the forums I regularly visit nowadays are powered by vBulletin - except for a select few (like Mozillazine - someone save them!!).. timekeeper 4th August 2004, 11:17 AM I think all the forums I visit are vbulletin ones...gamerzplanet.net, nhacks.com, softwaretipsandtricks.com etc etc. Are all vb, except for nukeforums which is phpbb. So I say I spend a lot most of my time on vbulletin forums. Static 5th August 2004, 02:56 PM I usually spend around 2 ~ 3 hours per day. Official forums related to vBulletin, I'd spend around 1 hour. The rest, I usually spend them on my website's forum or other gaming website's forums run by vBulletin. vBulletin is definately easier to navigate compared to others like phpBB. IPB isn't so bad other than the design. timekeeper 5th August 2004, 05:25 PM IPB is a bit unstable in terms of cookies and session IDs, I always have trouble with keeping loggin out when I post, or browse a site. Especially with a portal installed. Very unstable :p ja3 6th August 2004, 11:28 PM I don't know how much time I spent on visiting vBulletin forums because I don't care what the forum software is if I am just a user :). But I know I mainly visit vBulletin forums like www.vbulletin.nl (http://www.vbulletin.nl) :) and because my own forum is made with vBulletin. I think IPB is very bad forum software, I don't understand people taking it, IPB is just a administrative mess. phpBB is cool as a free forum but hasn't got enough futures :) for me. As user phpBB is nice to visit. Reeve of Shinra 6th August 2004, 11:49 PM I am usually surfing around the various VB sites throughout the day. Since I've been trying to start another forum and get some features working in my existing forum, I've been looking to see how I can accomplish my goals utilizing hacks already out. Its also given me some good ideas for other things I would like to do. rooshine 7th August 2004, 04:30 AM Don't laugh at me, but easily more than 40 hours per week. That's if you count my own forum. If you don't count that, than it's probably about 10 or so. Tony 7th August 2004, 04:34 AM To tell you the truth, the amount of vBulletin forums I visit isn't that high. I visit vBT daily, vB.nl daily, vB.org some days,vB.com some days and eXtremepixels.com some days. The other forums I visit daily are one UBB.classic, one invision board and 2 phpBB's. I don't really have much time to join any new communities. But when I was a little younger, I used to spend hours upon hours just posting everywhere. Now, it's just a matter of time. So that's 5 vBulletins (3 daily), one UBB, One invision and 2 phpBB's. Probably spend an hour and a half on the vBulletin forums. Floris 30th August 2004, 05:05 PM Once every hour, I load a browser with a domain that has vB in it :) |
