Do you put Advertisements like Google Adsense on your vbulletin pages? I don't, well not yet, because there's not sense in annoying my members with ads, when the forum is just new, and only has about 64 members.
I figure I'll wait till there are more members then start putting adsense into the forum pages.

64 users is certainly a bit low to be adding ads, maybe when you have a few more zeros in that count? Most of the forums I work with use ads in some form although the smaller ones generally have very little in the way of visual advertisements and more link exchanges or simple button ads.

If your member base is only 64 people, advertisers aren't going to be as prepared to give you money for their ads.
As ted (who is the man when it comes to adsense) says, when you have a few times that amount, you might be in business. :)
I have ads running on NZB, but not on my Support forums.

I am probably going to use small advertisements on my site - not really paid advertisements, but rather partnerships with local businesses and organizations (still working out the details on how it'll work).
Most of my targeted users are used to viewing ads on sites, so they'll like the fact that most of my ads will be text links.

I prefer not to have too much ads in my forums.
Sure, the main website has it's two 468x60 banners and one 120x600 banners that are open for "rent", but the forums, I only keep to one 468x60 banner at the top, one at the bottom, and max of three stickies in the website advertising forums.
Few members click the ads since the site is related to gaming and the advertisements are related to either some sort of gaming, website creating or so.

Yes, we have adsense and some style sites that advertise with us.
We do try to keep it as low as possible, you won't ever find a popup banner here though.
