I've just checked my stats and it shows that 82 out of 398 have not replied to the email requesting users to follow the link and confirm their registration. This number seems abnormally high.

I'd like to add a note on the registration page that says there must be a valid email. I've looked through admincp files galore and can't figure out where the modification needs to be done so that I can add the statement.

we have a thread explaining this.
But we also delete users who sign up with bouncy emails.
And once in a while we email everybody their link, and those who bounce get deleted too. And after some months we delete the ones who never activated their account.
