View Full Version : And I paid for this!

Recently I purchased a style from a well known site  The style has a problem in that no matter how narrow you assign the outer table, you still have to side scroll the page. There are NO images holding the page to a certain width.

I've always considered myself to be fairly well versed in web design but, this has really got me puzzled!

The site I bought the style from says they are aware of the problem and are working on it. It's been a couple of weeks and still no fix :*(

If anyone reading this is a coder or is just well knowledged in style code, could you PLEASE have a look and give me an idea of what it is that needs to be fixed or changed so that the style does not side scroll on a regular (not wide screen) monitor?

The style to choose to see this is "Battlegear".

Thanks'
Gary

That sucks! I hope their support updates their style or gives good support.

So far they have been VERY slow in even acknowledging there is a problem. And have not exactly been in a hurry to correct it. Out of respect for others and not wanting to bash anyone or their business I won't say where the style was purchased but, as far as I know, the style "Battlegear" is exclusive to only one distributor.

Is it vBSkinWorks.com (http://vbskinworks.com/forum) by any chance? Cuz I googled it and 3 possibilities came up...this seemed like the most logical one, however. :p

Well, I am glad that they finally corrected your problem. It is never good when you feel like you have been shafted.

Yeh, it was'nt that it was a large amount of money. It was just the lack of support.
