Joe Gronlund 1st May 2007, 05:49 PM Other forums that get highly accessed. Google would be nice :D Kaizen 9th May 2007, 01:17 AM Yeah i would join on other forums and edit my signature line. I also guess that a large college campus would be useful. Ampy1000 11th May 2007, 10:48 PM Google... as the header :P And at conserts and compititions for various things Chroder 12th May 2007, 01:28 AM Forums with similar content is always nice. I've contemplated buying text links on related websites as well. At least you get PR for links, but hopefully also some members. Sykko 12th July 2007, 03:22 AM I put a link in my signature on other forums that I am a member of, I have registered and am listed on forumbase.org as well as forumregistry.com and have links from my myspace page... then I have networked with a couple other sites where under my copyright info I link to them and as a result they link back to us (in various ways) as a result of having so many links all over the place we are even starting to get stray members off of search engines... which is super-groovy! :D Deathbyalfonzo 25th July 2007, 09:51 PM I have 3 websites, and advertise on each, i also join other forums and put a link or something like it in my sig. Distance 27th July 2007, 02:52 AM Signature on certain forums, mainly I just get ads on the forums of the same genre which are more progressed than mine. Distance akme-color 8th September 2007, 01:03 PM Signatures and forum help you much. adalia 14th January 2008, 10:57 AM Have a great day! good site I found this site which satisfied about tourism issues. I really love to explore in beautiful places in the world. With this site helps a lot to enrich my knowledge about the topic. You can get many reliable ideas and information for anything you want to know. Otherwise, you can impart your knowledge for clarification of others. Welcome to everyone! djj 14th January 2008, 04:35 PM google pay per click works Jekyll 21st January 2008, 11:45 PM forums what are relvant to mine and bring in high traffic and a sticky on big forums as an advertizement. Pipers Dragon 22nd January 2008, 04:22 AM The best places in my opinion are places that share the same topic, or are in the same group. For example, a Graphics Design Help forum may best be plugged in a ring of Web Design or Coding Forums. A sports site may be advertised on a television site, a site for posting your own stats, or even just a teen hang out. It is really dependent on the site, I think. kushal 22nd January 2008, 10:29 AM It really depends upon the audience you have: In one of my site targetted at students preparing for the exam, the best place was facebook and orkut. All most 70% of traffic during my initial days came from there. For my charity website, as it involved the newer and curious concept in the country, only search engine optimization helped me. 98% of traffic is coming through the unique keyword which people search. For my another site which is heping IPB forum administration, participating with a signature at erstwhile ipsbeyond.com helped me a lot. Also similar web site such as invisionize.com also is a good option to put banner ads. Sending the sites in website directories too is a good option for advertisement. For my popular webiste, I had used radio, and Rear windshied banners to be used at cars for the advertisement. |
