What else do you use?

We use DeskPro.com helpdesk system on our site for managing email, and use a custom written portal for staff details and staff news and for having an overview of links to other sections such as a dev forum.

Just staff forums. It's easier to track things when everything is in one place.

I just use staff forums too. I am lucky in that with one exception all of my staff are local friends and we see each other on a regular basis, so it is easy to exchange ideas.

Though, some of the innovations mentioned by Floris are intriguing, and being a man who loves new toys I may look at implementing one or two of them. :)
