You used to be with a hosting company but it didn't work out? Why not? Where did you move away from, where did you move to?

I have been through a fair few in my time. I don't particularly want to dis on past providers, but my reasons for moving were generally poor support (ie I paid for a support contract, but if something actually required work to fix it then suddenly it was outside their TOS). This really pissed me off as I am fairly capable with fixing stuff that goes wrong on a server and I don't file nuisance tickets. If I say it is broke then it is broke in a big way and without help I can't fix it, and when I then can't get support from the people who should be providing support then it ticks me off.

I currently have a dedicated box with LayeredTech and it FLIES!!!!!!!!!!!

But, I do miss some of the functions of the Orbit control Panel which I had when I was with the Planet. It centralized a lot of functions I use and helped me to "get it done fast" when I needed to admin something, like being able to manage domain names etc.
