I'm getting hit with alot of spam and cannot figure out how to stop it. I think it is coming from a bot as it is always going to the same forum. The image verification and email verification is not stopping it. The IP addresses are different each time so blocking the IP address is not working either. Got any tips on how to stop it? :confused:

I had this problem and it was getting out of hand. I now have a long list of banned email addresses if you want them?

I have a strong suspicion that all the spam is coming from one person or organization - many of the emails associated with the spam posts are .ru

Few things

a) upgrade to vBulletin 3.6.4
b) enable TTF GD
c) Enable Random Fonts
d) Enable Random Font Sizes

if oyu want to stop spam just bring more moderators and admins to your forum
