I am sure you're quite capable of sharing your thoughts in a productive manner about the recent events on vBulletin.org, and is it me or have we noticed a decline in service due to this?
* Coding community appears to be uncomfortable and several appear to decide to leave the site.

* Coders pulling their attachments from their resources

* Undocumented functionality like auto installers are no longer allowed

* More and more commercialized addons, but still using lite versions to indirectly promote their full version

* The trend of coders only giving support to those who click the install button

* Donate buttons inside release threads which give impression money is required

* The staff nitpicking on certain rules but allowing others to bend the rules

* 15 staff members who do this on volenteer basis but appear to be only enjoying their status as people hardly notice them to be online or active or even moderating

* free support requests being ignored by community to motivate people to post in service request forum so when they help they can get money

* etc

I don't mind that people discuss this on my site, but please keep it clean?

I'm not sure if I understand what is wrong with this. Why should something that a coder hides be allowed? If it's part of the code then it should be documented, shouldn't it? What am I missing here?

Was there an official post saying what that "extra" code was and in what hacks it was found in?
