OOOOOOOOOH I THINK YOU SHOULD

You will be surprised with the amount of little stupid errors you see listed. It also helps you to improve your community.

Most hosts these days allow you to download 2 type of log file for the web server.
One being the apache access log and the other the apache error log.

An example could be the missing favicon.ico :)

Post the ones you have here and post the solution too if you have it. Maybe we can help each other improve our sites!

Btw, you will also find hack attempts. There are worm scripts running through google to find sites powered by vBulletin version <exploitable> and they try to auto hack sites. So it's defiantly worth a shot to look through it.

No, my sites run flawlessly and I don't have any errors on my server. :p

Seriously, this is on my massive list of things to-do. Last time I checked my log file was rather large, so I must have one or two stupid errors that need connecting. ;)

It gets to a point where checking the access_log files isn't feasible, you DON'T want to know the size of mine ;) ;)

As for the error_log file, I check it now and then just to see what's broken, although there isn't much of that these days.

Oooh, this leads on to a new topic.....

Every once and a while. The missing favicon is usually the only kind of error I see continuously.
