View Full Version : vBorg's hack database now public? Floris 21st April 2006, 12:45 AM People have been reporting they can now see the hacks database on vborg. This is a new tab you can click. Disjunto 21st April 2006, 12:47 AM well that was definately everything it was hyped up to be, or maybe about 5 mins of code, who cares? EDIT: just noticed it is also severely bugged, shows me 2 latest mods/hacks for some of the forums, and 1 of the 2 shown isn't actually contained in the forum :P EDIT 2: just noticed it doesn't actually show the latest release for the forum, it shows latest releases for the category, so well done on really bad ideas vborg. glad i dont care bout them anymore :D vbcorolla 21st April 2006, 12:49 AM 5 whole minutes? are you crazy!! I figured they just copy pasted forumhome and added if forum!= don't show like 50 times more like 3 minutes... Disjunto 21st April 2006, 12:55 AM 5 whole minutes? are you crazy!! I figured they just copy pasted forumhome and added if forum!= don't show like 50 times more like 3 minutes... welll you know, you gotta add that tab image, that took an extra 2 :P and maybe they was on 56k trying to uplaod the file ;) vbcorolla 21st April 2006, 01:54 AM ok, 5 is believeable I guess :p maybe even 6 if they got bumped off #vbfans because of a netsplit :D Robert 21st April 2006, 05:17 AM Well, I expect it does more than at first glance, but would love to be told what. For me it does little to enhance my user experience. Sorry if this kicks dirt in the face of the person who made the hack, but realistically I still need to sift through all of the hacks loaded into the forums as I did before. All it does is filter out the chat aspects of the site, something which could have been simply done with the selective forum filter hack. Chroder 21st April 2006, 05:35 AM Am I missing something? When I click the mods tab, it takes me to modifications.php which looks to simply be the usual list of "vB3.5 Modifications" category. All links just go to forumdisplay... vbcorolla 21st April 2006, 07:09 AM nope, not missing anything. and I'm in the coders group and just saw it today for the first time Disjunto 21st April 2006, 02:06 PM Looks like they didn't think about us purple style users again then :( they never care about the people that use the old vborg styles, because the new crappy one is so great. and now i dont even get a search box on the portal like i used to.... destroy vborg :P Robert 21st April 2006, 04:11 PM they never care about the people that use the old vborg styles, because the new crappy one is so great. and now i dont even get a search box on the portal like i used to.... destroy vborg :P Crappy new one? Do you mean the Smooth Blue style? If so it does rock as a style. But if you want to use an old style pick Plain Green. That is Xenon's style of choice so I can guarantee it will always be updated. ;) Disjunto 21st April 2006, 04:48 PM Smooth Blue is nothing really, Dark Blue is the best. Smooth Blue = Header Image, For BG, Cat BG and colour changes with an iconset. REally basic and nothing too it, Dark Blue is what i see vborg as, but they abandoned the better design TheComputerGuy 21st April 2006, 05:29 PM I am going to check this out |
