I know there is a thread somewhere, but I can't find it today. I do not have shell access to my Snitz mysql db at Parcom, but need to convert it (at least the username db) to a vBulletin db at another host (also open to suggestions there).
Can anyone point me to a good thread, freelancer, or procedure for doing it?
Thanks!

Very good question. It seems a lot of people are overwhelmed by this conversion. Well here we go. You can manually convert the MDB with an Access-to-MySQL converter. You can get a trial version at http://www.convert-in.com/acc2sql.htm :)

Thanks. I am debating whether to start over or go through the headache of converting. I have over 1000 members (many are non-active) and think it may be easier to just ask the active posters to re-register.
I noticed that your link went to an Access-MySql converter. My db is already mysql and just needs to be converted to vBulletin. Are the table and field names the same? (Probably not).

Have a look at IMPEX (the offical import system available via your members area). The info about the Snitz part can be found here (http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/main/impex_snitz).
That's all well but sometimes IMPEX has a hardtime with Snitz when it comes to a user table. I'd be far more satisfied with a manual conversion cause I know it'll work but IMPEX might just do the trick. :)
