Over the last couple of weeks since the release of vB 3.5.0 Gold, I haven't seen much activity besides 3.5.1 and 3.5.2. What do you think the vBulletin staff members are up to? Are they developing a CMS or a Chatroom Program? Are they trying to take over the world, or are they in a cave in Afghanistan? Maybe vB 4.0? Who knows? :D

Where do you think they are?

Maybe Jelsoft will develop some neat Web IRC Chat interface lol. Plus they are probably getting ready to release the CMS for the New Year lmao.

No body knows lol.

Yeah, I bought vb because of Kier talking about the CMS (I believe it was him) and then they pulled a jedi-mind-trick and erased the talk from our minds.

I am going with a cave in Afghanistan, it is why Floris has a powerbook so he can stay online and trick us into thinking he is still in the Netherlands.

I think they are probably working on 3.6.x adding a voice print function to the member registration system and working on a fully tricked AJAX CMS for version 4.

vB 4 will come with voice to text posting features. And by pressing a button in a post, it will read you the message in a cheasy robotic voice similar to one of the mac osx ones.

They are working on their 'killer app' for the upcoming gaming console. Jelsoft will be breaking in to the console market shortly after Sony releases the PS3.

Jelsoft isn't letting us know to much about the hardware yet. I have been able to find out the codename of the processor is 'PPN', the processor was co-developed by Jelsoft and AMD and shares a lot in common with AMD's Opteron line. Rumor has it that the PPN has four cores running at 2.5ghz each.

The console will also come with a 300 Gigabyte hard drive for game saves, movie/music files, and of course Jelsoft's own OS based on BSD UNIX. Given the ammount of storage space in the console it may ship with some sort of PVR software.

I also hear they are using MyChenQL for the file system. ;)

Plus, our speculations can be even more fun and fantastic without any hard facts. :p

Only this way can the rumor mill turn at such a startling pace.

Kier fell into a lava pit and had to be pulled out by Mike, only to be betrayed by Freddie
Floris to the rescue!!!

Wow. Who would have guessed that Kier would not have seen that Freddie was build up forces against him in an attempt to seize the crown. :p

I think it is customary to have a short break after a gold release. In some circles the word we use is "holiday" but Kier and the team just go back to 8 hour days:D

I don't think you will be disappointed by further releases.
