Hi there vBulletin fans,

I am the author of the vBulletin.nl Professional Style which won the vBulletin "Board of the Month" competition in last November 2003 on vBulletin.com.

The style has been finalized for vBulletin version 3.0.0 (We also have optimized packages for gamma, rc1, rc2, rc3 and gold)

This Professional Style Package 1.x comes with a default style and clear installation instructions, access to the vBulletin.nl Member Area and free upgrades to other 1.x package releases. (Future builds will include alternative style versions and lite versions).

You can see a demo of the style by going to our site and select the Professional style from the Quick Style Chooser in the footer on each page. (quick screeny (http://vbulletin.nl/vbnl_prostyle10.gif))

In January and February, this package has been selling for $25.00 USD, and last December we had a sale to celebrate the BotM competition winning. I'd like to extend this sale on this web site and offer it to the members here for $20.00 USD.

Once purchased, the style can not be given away to friends, shared over p2p networks or distributed otherwise. Nor resold second hand or in some kind of form. Each purchase grants you the right to run it on one vBulletin instance. Additional instances would require additional Pro style package licenses. Adding child styles based on this one on your own site on that same vbulletin instance is of course permitted and doesn't require an additional license. We can't provide refunds.

Here is a demo link:
Load Pro Style on vBnl web site. (http://www.vbulletin.nl/community/?styleid=39)

Here is the purchase link for users of this web site:
PayPal.com purchase (https://www.paypal.com/xclick/business=paypal%40vBulletin.nl&item_name=vBulletin.nl+Professional+Style+Package&item_number=016&amount=20.00&no_note=1&currency_code=USD). $20.00 USD (verified buyers only)

Once the payment is received and completed, one of our professional and dedicated staff members will process the purchase and reply to the PayPal email with the vBnl Professional Style Package .zip file and other details.

I hope this style is of some use to some users and if not, feel free to provide constructive and productive feedback with your ideas on how I might improve it. Rants and flames are ignored.

Thank you.

Status update:

We are currently making a new build + additional lite version for vBulletin 3.0.0 Release Candidate 2.

We are also discussing a custom discount for members of EverythingVb.com only, who purchase the site through this web site.

Of course it's a nice style. Just wait for v1.1 or 1.2 Alternative, that one will be excellent!

Well as I was saying 3 weeks ago, I am now using Pro style v1.2 and I am very pleased with it right now. Great job floris on releasing 1.2 and I hope we'll see the Lite and Alt version soon too :)

I liked it but its too much like the normal vB3 style. Its just some color modifications and a few new icons.

And a few less icons in some places, i.e. in the threads e.g. IP logging, etc.

Plus, though it can be duplicated by someone with experience, and umm, that would not be me :p , an awesome postbit and postbit_legacy.

Definately worth the money

postbit_legacy?! you mean you can have the vb2 postbit?
Good, I was getting sick of the confusing vb3 version.

Go to your User CP, Rein, and go to Edit Options -> Postbit Style (it's on the bottom of one of the boxes). You can set it to Classic so that you (personally) browse this site using the classic vB2-style postbit. :)

I liked the style except some of the buttons are not the correct color and that the style isn't finished. Example is the blue 'post reply' button in an otherwise grey look and feel.

It's nice although I find the poster information at the top of the post extremely difficult to view. I significantly prefer the info to the left so I can get a clear view looking down the right side of the page to read threads. Other than that it is a beautiful style and would consider purchase if it wasn't for the above two issues.

The Pro Style comes with both a legacy and a modern postbit, so you can set it to the old-skool postbit if you want to.

That's one issue already resolved! :)

As for the buttons, when you purchase the Pro Style you can get the Graphics kit and alter the color of the buttons yourself. Not a big hassle :)

Is the price still discounted for members of EvB or is it back at the original $25 again?

still discounted :)

If you make a purchase and got asked to pay $25,i will refund the $5 that you would pay too much.
