Just curious, but do any of you notice a spike or rapid decline in forum activity over the summer period? Early last summer my forum was invaded by very bored kids, most of whom were a real nightmare. However, towards the end of the summer things got really reaalllly slow as the adults went off on their annual vacation. I'm wondering, is there any measures you take to cope with a sudden flood of bored kids or if things get slow, is there anything you do that helps keep regulars coming back instead of heading to the beach?:p

I will let you know as this summer takes place. However, I am betting I can tell you what'll happen with my board right now before it takes place. Since my board is a sports forum, and the activity is primarily on the football boards, activity will gradually increase during the summer months as teams approach training camps and preseason, and by the end of Summer, we will be near peak activity because the NFL Regular Season will be in full swing along with the MLB playoffs and the start of the NBA and (If the two sides can agree on something) NHL!

It depends on how big your forum is, and what visitors you are having. If you have a active forum the whole year, I don't see a problem. But if you are having a small forum, i'd could be a problem. Perhaps you can write some hacks ? :).
